Recipes to Try Organisation

Do you have recipes to try saved digitally or physically? Do you sometimes forget where you found or saved a particular recipe? Would you like a way to keep a track of recipes you’ve found?

I’m always saving new recipes to try whether it’s online or printed recipes. I love trying new recipes even though we have many of our favourites on repeat such as Quick Chilli Beef, Tric’s Mince, Fried Rice, Gluten and Dairy Free Chocolate Brownies and Peanut Butter Cookies.

Many of the recipes that I’ve tried are printed or collected from magazines. I have stored these in display folders with different categories so they are easy to find. Categories include savoury nibbles, soups, mains, dessert, bread, cakes and biscuits.

There are many more recipes I’ve saved on Facebook, bookmarked on the computer, torn out of magazines and saved in folders, earmarked in recipe books; among other places. I often come to use a recipe but then can’t remember where I found it or saved it? Do you ever have that problem?

In order to keep a track of these new recipes I want to try, I’ve created a simple sheet to record on. It can be recorded on digitally or printed out to write on. This way I’ll have an ongoing list of recipes I want to try in one place. It’s a simple sheet that can be used to record the recipe name, where the recipe can be sourced and then a space for any notes after the recipe has been made. If you want to list the recipes in categories just print out a few copies of the second sheet.

If you would like a copy of my Recipes to Try sheet so that you can begin organising your recipes; simply fill out the form below. You’ll need to subscribe to my fortnightly newsletter and then you’ll be able to download the Recipes to Try sheet.
