Description
Hope for the Holidays: Stories and Traditions for a Peaceful Season contains a comforting collection of stories and wisdom designed to help readers find peace, hope, and purpose during the holiday season. This book invites you to explore traditions, navigate difficult times, and embrace moments of joy through a tapestry of heartfelt stories and practical advice.
Hope for the Holidays is a Hope*Books collaborative book with chapters and stories from 10 different authors. I am fortunate to be one of those authors.
In my chapter, Birthday Cake for Jesus: Teaching your Kids the Meaning of Christmas, I share the story of how the tradition of birthday cake for Jesus began in our family. Along with the story of this tradition, I also share some other faith-based holiday traditions that my family does or has participated in. I include helpful tips and ideas on how to add faith-based traditions to your Christmas celebrations.
Other chapters include stories and practical advice about Hope for the Holidays when you are grieving, experienced a loss or unexpected circumstance, have blended family faith traditions or are struggling with an issue. A couple of the chapters share how singing carols or the words of the carols we sing can help bring hope.
