As a parent do you want to make sure your kids know that Jesus is the reason for the Christmas season?
However you might be unsure how to do this amongst all the commercialism and the busyness of the season, with everything you already do as a family to celebrate Christmas.

What’s included in the Family Christmas Traditions Workshop?
In this free Family Christmas Traditions Worship you’ll learn how you can:
- add faith-based elements to your existing family Christmas Traditions
- create new faith-based family Christmas tradions
- tweak or change these family Christmas traditions as your family grows and changes
Recently I’ve written a chapter for a collaborative book titled Hope for the Holidays: Stories and Traditions for a Peaceful Season. My chapter is Birthday Cake for Jesus: Teaching your Kids the Meaning of Christmas. In this chapter, I share the story of how the tradition of birthday cake for Jesus began in our family. Along with the story of this tradition, I also share some other faith-based holiday traditions that my family does or has participated in. I include helpful tips and ideas on how to add faith-based traditions to your Christmas celebrations.
This upcoming Family Christmas Traditions Workshops will be based on my chapter in Hope for the Holidays. I’ll share some of our families Christmas Traditions and then you’ll have an opportunity to explore how you might adapt existing traditions and add a faith-based element to them. Or you might consider adding a new faith based tradion to your Christmas celebrations.
